We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Officer to join our team in the Automobile industry. The Purchasing Officer will play a key role in ensuring the timely procurement of parts, materials, equipment, and services necessary for our company. The ideal candidate will have 2 experience in purchasing, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet project requirements while optimizing cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms and conditions, and establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
- Review purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders in accordance with project specifications and budgetary constraints.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to understand needs and ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels, track deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to orders.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and industry trends, and make recommendations for cost-saving initiatives.
- Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular supplier performance reviews to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements, and prepare reports as needed.
- Stay informed about changes in market conditions, pricing, and regulatory requirements that may impact procurement activities.
