Alliance Group is a leading company in trading building materials in UAE. We are seeking a competent and experienced Purchase Manager to join our team and contribute to our growth and success. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in building materials, hardware, and timber, as this expertise will be considered a valuable advantage in driving our purchasing strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Purchasing Activities: Oversee all organizational purchase activities, including processing purchase requests and optimizing procurement processes.
• Vendor Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to secure the best prices and negotiate terms when necessary.
• Documentation: Gather and prepare necessary documents, including quotes, proposals, and purchase terms and conditions from suppliers.
• Purchase Forecasting: Conduct forecasting to anticipate material needs, ensuring timely procurement actions.
• Purchase Analysis: Perform thorough analyses to evaluate vendor performance, cost-effectiveness, and market trends to inform strategic purchasing decisions.
• Inventory Control: Implement and oversee inventory control measures to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
• Order Management: Analyze material availability and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely and cost-efficient supply according to demand.
• Logistics Coordination: Manage and monitor shipments and customs clearance with freight forwarders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Supplier Data Management: Maintain and update supplier master data archives in compliance with local regulations.
• Vendor Communication: Communicate with vendors regarding registration documents, invoice submissions, and payments.
• Team Management: Lead and manage the purchase team to achieve departmental goals.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience: 4-5 years of experience in a building materials trading company in the UAE, with a strong emphasis on hardware and timber experience as an advantage.
• Contracts Knowledge: Strong understanding of contracts and payment terms and conditions.
• Availability: Must be currently residing in the UAE while applying for the position.
• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Communication Skills: Proficient in Hindi and English.
• Market Interest: Keen interest in market dynamics with strong business acumen.
