As Purchase Executive, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and negotiating materials and supplies. You will play a critical role in ensuring the timely procurement of high-quality materials to support our construction operations. Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Management: Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers, maintaining strong relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
Sourcing: Source and procure a wide range of materials, including steel, alloys, welding equipment, and consumables, while ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to secure favorable agreements and achieve cost savings for the company.
Purchase Orders: Generate and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and track stock movements to prevent shortages and excesses, optimizing inventory levels to support project requirements.
Quality Control: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that purchased materials meet required specifications and standards.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of purchases, contracts, and vendor agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and market research to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement in procurement activities.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 3 years of UAE experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry, with a focus on steel structure fabrication.
Knowledge: Solid understanding of procurement processes and vendor relations. Familiarity with steel and metalworking materials and specifications is highly desirable.
Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate effectively with vendors to achieve favorable terms and pricing.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in processing purchase orders and maintaining records.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with vendors, internal stakeholders, and team members.
