We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive (Drugstore ) to manage and optimize the procurement process for our drugstore operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing pharmaceutical products, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of inventory. This role requires strong negotiation skills, a good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Procurement Management:
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for pharmaceutical products and health-related items.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company.
• Place and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Inventory Control:
• Monitor stock levels and forecast future inventory needs based on sales trends and seasonal demands.
• Implement inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Supplier Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Address and resolve any issues related to product quality, delivery delays, or order discrepancies.
• Stay updated on market trends and changes in supplier dynamics to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Compliance and Documentation:
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications.
• Prepare and present procurement reports to management as needed.
• Cost Management:
• Analyze purchasing data and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Develop and implement strategies to control and reduce procurement costs while maintaining product quality.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with other departments, including pharmacy staff and store management, to understand their needs and ensure alignment with procurement strategies.
• Provide support in resolving any issues related to product supply and availability.
