We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Purchase Executive to join our team. You
will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing raw materials and packaging
materials needed for our lubricant oil production. You will build strong relationships with
suppliers, ensure on-time delivery, secure the best possible pricing and terms, and contribute
to efficient inventory management. Your success will be measured through achievement of
key performance indicators (KPIs) that directly impact our bottom line and operational
efficiency.
Responsibilities:
? Manage assigned categories of raw materials and packaging for lubricant oil
production.
? Research and identify qualified suppliers for base oils, additives, and packaging
materials.
? Request for Quotations (RFQs), negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
? Evaluate supplier quotes based on price, quality, defect rate, delivery lead time, and
payment terms.
? Manage supplier relationships, maintain open communication, and resolve any issues.
? Monitor inventory levels and initiate orders to replenish stock as needed to ensure
smooth production processes.
? Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company
policies.
? Ensure on-time delivery of materials according to production schedules.
? Track material costs, monitor market trends, and identify cost-saving opportunities
through value analysis and alternative sourcing.
? Conduct regular supplier performance analysis using metrics like on-time delivery
rate, quality control performance and total cost of ownership (TCO).
? Identify areas for improvement with underperforming suppliers and develop
corrective action plans.
? Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure smooth purchasing processes.
? Prepare and present reports on procurement metrics and supplier performance to
identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
? Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
? Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new materials, and regulations.
Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a
related field .
? Minimum 2-3 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the manufacturing
industry.
? Strong understanding of procurement principles, negotiation techniques, and supplier
management.
? Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
? Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
? Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (preferred).
? Knowledge of the lubricant oil industry a plus.
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
? Excellent time management and organizational skills.
