.Maintain inventory levels to support pharmacy operational needs.
Maintain order and stock master records. Ensure accurate records of purchases, pricing, and contracts.
Conduct demand forecasting and demand planning.
Develop and implement inventory planning strategies.
Negotiate prices and terms with vendors to secure the best possible deals. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain, including supply disruptions, product recalls, and quality issues.
Collaborate with warehouse management to resolve inventory and delivery discrepancies.
Monitor the requirements of all pharmacies to forecast future supply needs.
Stay up to date with changing regulations and requirements in the healthcare industry, especially those related to pharmaceuticals.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports as required.
Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for inventory optimization.
Implement inventory control and management systems to reduce costs and prevent product expiry.

. Education and Certifcation

Bachelors Degree - Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields. Masters degree will be an advantage.

Knowledge and Skills

Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Familiarity with procurement regulations, policies, and best practices.
Proficiency in using procurement software and electronic systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven procurement decisions.
Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain processes.
Ability to work well in a team and independently, with a proactive and result-oriented approach.

Experience

3-5 years experience in relevant role or relevant field of pharmacy experience in UAE will be an advantage
