  • .Maintain inventory levels to support pharmacy operational needs.
  • Maintain order and stock master records. Ensure accurate records of purchases, pricing, and contracts.
  • Conduct demand forecasting and demand planning.
  • Develop and implement inventory planning strategies.
  • Negotiate prices and terms with vendors to secure the best possible deals. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain, including supply disruptions, product recalls, and quality issues.
  • Collaborate with warehouse management to resolve inventory and delivery discrepancies.
  • Monitor the requirements of all pharmacies to forecast future supply needs.
  • Stay up to date with changing regulations and requirements in the healthcare industry, especially those related to pharmaceuticals.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports as required.
  • Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for inventory optimization.
  • Implement inventory control and management systems to reduce costs and prevent product expiry.

. Education and Certifcation
  • Bachelors Degree - Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields. Masters degree will be an advantage.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Familiarity with procurement regulations, policies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and electronic systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven procurement decisions.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain processes.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently, with a proactive and result-oriented approach.
Experience
  • 3-5 years experience in relevant role or relevant field of pharmacy experience in UAE will be an advantage
