As we continue to expand, we are looking for a dedicated and skilled Purchase Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Purchase Engineer to manage and oversee the procurement process for materials, components, and equipment related to our air conditioning systems and related projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering procurement, exceptional negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of technical specifications and supplier management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Management:
• Oversee the purchase of all materials, components, and equipment required for air conditioning systems and related projects.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Engineering, Projects, etc.) to determine material specifications, quantity requirements, and delivery timelines.
• Supplier Management:
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for various engineering products and services.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective solutions.
• Cost Control & Budgeting:
• Monitor and control purchasing costs to stay within budget.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure optimal purchasing conditions for the company.
• Inventory Management:
• Ensure that adequate stock levels of materials are maintained to avoid project delays or production stoppages.
• Work closely with the warehouse team to track inventory and manage supply chain activities.
• Quality Assurance:
• Ensure that all purchased materials meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and specifications.
• Conduct regular audits of suppliers and products to ensure consistency in quality and performance.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain detailed records of purchase orders, contracts, and correspondence.
• Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, including cost analysis and supplier performance.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualification:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Additional certifications in supply chain management or procurement are a plus.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the HVAC or related engineering sectors.
• Experience with technical procurement and familiarity with air conditioning systems and components is highly preferred.
• Skills & Competencies:
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory control.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and procurement software.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
