? Identify potential suppliers and source materials, components, equipment, and services required for projects or production processes

? Evaluate supplier capabilities, performance, and reliability through supplier audits, site visits, and performance metrics

? Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to obtain the best value for the organization while maintaining quality standards and delivery schedules

? Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering collaboration and addressing any issues or concerns proactively

? Work closely with production, engineering, and inventory teams to forecast material requirements and ensure timely availability of materials to support production schedules

? Conduct cost analysis and cost-benefit evaluations to optimize procurement decisions and reduce overall costs while maintaining quality standards

? Manage contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, and resolving any contractual disputes or discrepancies

? Collaborate with inventory management teams to optimize inventory levels, minimize excess inventory, and reduce carrying costs

? Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that purchased materials and components meet quality standards and specifications

? Proficiency in procurement software and tools, such as ERP systems, e-procurement platforms, and Microsoft Excel

? Familiarity with sourcing strategies like EOQ for the bulk orders of consumables.

? Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively

? API/ISO records maintains should be strong with all the necessary evidences to be presentable.

Qualification:

? Bachelor's degree in mechanical/Production engineering.

? Experience in the valve industry will be value added.

? Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., Certified Purchasing Manager - CPM) is a plus

? Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement in procurement operations

? Familiarity with sourcing strategies, supplier selection criteria, and supply chain management principle
