About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive •Purchase Assistant• with experience in HVAC products to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a background in purchasing within the HVAC industry, a solid understanding of supply chain management, and the ability to effectively negotiate with vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Purchase Manager in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing HVAC products and materials.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance.
• Monitor inventory levels and update stock records accurately.
• Coordinate with internal departments to forecast demand and ensure supply meets operational needs.
• Process purchase orders and track orders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Review invoices and resolve discrepancies with suppliers.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and pricing.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in purchasing, specifically in HVAC products or related industries.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with supply chain procedures and vendor management.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Knowledge of HVAC equipment, parts, and accessories.
