IIQAF is looking for an energetic and detail-oriented person for the position of Purchase Assistant.
In this role, you will assist the Purchasing and Procurement team in reviewing invoices and requisitions for accuracy. You will be responsible for ordering and maintaining purchasing records.
You Should Have:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business, finance or purchasing and supply chain management
Proven knowledge of purchasing procedures and principles
Excellent organizational, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Computer literacy with proficient Microsoft Office knowledge
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Keen eye for negotiation and market analysis
Good verbal and written communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluating all purchase orders and purchase requisitions
Securing competitive bids and negotiating with suppliers for the best price, quality and delivery dates
Drawing up contracts and conducting ongoing supplier performance assessments
Maintaining accurate purchasing records and enforcing compliance with procurement policies and procedures
Assisting in the preparation of management reports on purchasing process
Developing ideas to strengthen the purchasing process
Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers
