Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Purchaser with Bedding experience to lead our Bedding department with expertise and passion. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of bedding trends, consumer preferences, and merchandising strategies in Beds, pillows, bed sheets, curtains, towels, and decorative fabrics, etc. This role requires strong negotiation skills, analytical mindset, and attention to detail to drive sales, manage inventory, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase a diverse range of home textiles, including bedding, curtains, towels, and decorative fabrics.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases and inventory levels.
• Work closely with our sales and marketing teams to ensure product availability and promotion.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Purchaser in the home textiles, home furnishings, or bedding industry, with a strong background in buying, sales, or merchandising.
• Comprehensive knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and trends in home textiles, furnishings, and bedding.
• Excellent negotiation skills and a proactive approach to vendor relations.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales data to drive purchasing decisions.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Merchandising, or a related field preferred.In-depth knowledge of Bedding products, fabrics, trends, and brands.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented approach.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with retail management software.
