We are searching for an experienced and dedicated Pulmonologist to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals.As a Pulmonologist, you will specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and conditions affecting the respiratory system. This includes but is not limited to asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pulmonary hypertension, and lung cancer. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare providers to provide comprehensive care and improve the quality of life of our patients.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct initial consultations, diagnose and treat patients with a variety of respiratory conditions according to established protocols and guidelines- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests, chest X-rays, CT scans, and bronchoscopy to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of lung disorders- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medication, recommending lifestyle changes, and providing patient education- Work closely with other healthcare professionals such as respiratory therapists, nurses, and primary care physicians to coordinate and ensure timely and effective patient care- Perform procedures such as bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, and pleural biopsy as needed- Stay current with industry developments and advancements in pulmonary medicine through continued education and training- Participate in on-call duties as needed to provide 24/7 coverage for pulmonary emergenciesQualifications:- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school- Completed residency training in internal medicine and a fellowship in pulmonary medicine- Board certification in Pulmonary Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM)- Valid medical license to practice in the state of [insert state]- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing Pulmonologist- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients and healthcare team members- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills- Commitment to providing compassionate and evidence-based care to patientswe are committed to creating a positive and inclusive work environment for all our employees.
