We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pulmonologist.As a Pulmonologist, you will provide specialized care to patients with respiratory illnesses and diseases. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating conditions such as asthma, COPD, and lung cancer, as well as providing ongoing management and follow-up care for patients with chronic respiratory conditions.Your job will involve collaborating with other healthcare providers, such as primary care physicians and specialists, to develop holistic treatment plans for patients. Your role will also include staying up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in the field of pulmonology, and incorporating this knowledge into your practice.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough patient evaluations to diagnose and treat respiratory conditions- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as chest X-rays and pulmonary function tests- Prescribe and administer appropriate medications and treatment plans- Provide ongoing management and follow-up care for patients with chronic respiratory conditions- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans- Educate patients and their families on proper respiratory care and disease management- Stay current on the latest research and advancements in pulmonology and incorporate into practiceQualifications:- MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school- Completion of residency in internal medicine and fellowship in pulmonology- Board certification in pulmonology- Valid state medical license and DEA certification- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment- Strong diagnostic and treatment skills- Dedication to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
