As a public Relations Specialist you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a positive public image for our fashion brand. This role involves crafting and disseminating communications that articulate the brand's narrative, managing media relations, and coordinating PR campaigns to enhance brand awareness and reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
Media Relations:
•Develop and maintain relationships with fashion editors, journalists, influencers, and bloggers.
•Pitch story ideas and press releases to relevant media outlets.
•Organize press events, previews, and interviews to promote new collections and brand milestones.
Content Creation:
•Write and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
•Develop content for the brand's website, blog, and social media channels.
•Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure cohesive brand messaging across all platforms.
Event Management:
•Plan and execute brand events, including fashion shows, product launches, and influencer collaborations.
•Coordinate with event vendors, venues, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
•Manage guest lists, invitations, and RSVPs for brand events.
Crisis Management:
•Develop and implement crisis communication plans to address potential PR issues.
•Act as the primary point of contact for media inquiries during a crisis.
•Monitor public sentiment and provide strategic recommendations to mitigate negative publicity.
Brand Strategy:
•Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to align PR strategies with overall brand objectives.
•Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitors' PR activities.
•Identify opportunities for brand partnerships and sponsorships to enhance brand visibility.
Measurement and Reporting:
•Monitor media coverage and create reports to assess the effectiveness of PR campaigns.
•Provide regular updates to senior management on PR activities and outcomes.
•Utilize analytics tools to measure the impact of PR efforts on brand awareness and perception.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
•Proven experience in public relations, preferably within the fashion industry, minimum 2 years in UAE or GCC.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Established media contacts within the fashion industry.
•Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
•Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
•Proficiency in social media platforms and digital PR tools.
