:We are seeking a highly organized and professional UAE National, Public Relations Officer (PRO) to join our team in Dubai. The PRO will be responsible for handling all government and legal documentation and processes, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and acting as a liaison between the company and government authorities. Government Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for government agencies, ministries, and other regulatory bodies, including MOHRE, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA), and other relevant departments.
Visa & Immigration: Assist in processing of employee visas, license, and work permits. Ensure compliance with all government immigration rules and regulations.
MOHRE Compliance: Ensure compliance with the UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) regulations regarding labor contracts, employment records, and employee rights. Ensure that all employee data is accurately maintained and submitted to MOHRE's systems.
NAFIS Program: Oversee the onboarding of Emirati employees in compliance with the NAFIS program, ensuring that all required documentation is processed accurately and promptly, and monitor the company's compliance with Emiratisation targets.
Labor Contracts: Assist in the preparation and renewal of labor contracts for employees. Ensure contracts comply with UAE labor laws and include all required terms and conditions.
HR Laws & Regulations: Keep up to date with the latest changes to HR laws and regulations in the UAE, including updates from MOHRE, ensuring the company stays compliant with labor laws, employment practices, and benefits.
Business Licenses: Lead the renewal and management of trade licenses, permits, and other necessary registrations for business operations in Dubai and help in all governmental related documentations.
Document Processing: Ensure the timely and accurate submission of documents for all government-related processes, including labor contracts, health insurance, and other legal documents.
Public Relations: Represent the company in government-related events and engagements, ensuring a positive public image and relationship with authorities.
Support: Provide administrative support for various departments related to employee documentation, regulatory needs, and HR compliance.
Advisory: Provide updates and advice on changes in laws and regulations to internal stakeholders to ensure ongoing compliance, particularly with labor laws, MOHRE, and NAFIS requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a PRO role within the UAE, ideally in Dubai.
Knowledge: Strong knowledge of UAE labor law, immigration procedures, MOHRE, NAFIS regulations, and government regulations.
Skills: Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English and Arabic (preferred).
Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office and experience using government portals such as the UAE Ministry of Labor, GDRFA, MOHRE, and NAFIS systems.
Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Personal Traits: Professional, reliable, proactive, and a strong team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
Educational Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, administration, or a related field is a plus.
