Our Company is seeking to recruit a hardworking Public Relations Officer (PRO) to support its Dubai office operation.
Government Liaison:
To act as a liaison between their organisation or clients and various government entities in Dubai. This involves handling paperwork, submissions, and approvals related to visas, permits, licences, and other regulatory requirements.
Legal Compliance:
Ensuring that the organisation or individuals comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and procedures set by government authorities in Dubai. This includes staying updated on changes in regulations and advising clients or the organisation accordingly.
Document Handling and Processing:
Managing and processing all types of official documents, including visa applications, labour contracts, trade licences, and other legal paperwork required for business operations or personal matters.
Facilitation of Business Operations:
Streamlining administrative processes related to business setup, expansion, or day-to-day operations in Dubai. This can include assisting with company registrations, renewals, amendments, and closures.
Cultural and Language Bridge:
Acting as a cultural and language bridge between the organization or individual and local authorities, ensuring effective communication and understanding of requirements and procedures.
Public image and reputation:
Contributing to maintaining a positive public image and reputation for the organisation or individual through professional handling of government interactions and compliance matters.
Speed and Efficiency:
Utilising knowledge of local regulations and procedures to expedite processes and minimise delays or complications that could affect business operations or personal matters.
Problem Resolution:
Resolving issues and challenges that arise during interactions with government authorities or in navigating bureaucratic processes effectively.
Accountabilities
Facilitate the timely processing and renewal of visas for employees, ensuring compliance with UAE immigration laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate records of visa statuses and ensure all documentation is up to date and in accordance with government requirements.
Act as the main point of contact between the organization and various government authorities in Dubai, including the Ministry of Labor, Department of Economic Development (DED), and others as required.
Manage the preparation and submission of necessary documents and applications for business licenses, permits, approvals, and other legal requirements.
Monitor changes in local regulations and laws that may impact the organization and advise management on necessary actions.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain records to demonstrate adherence to legal standards.
Assist in the setup of new businesses or branches, including company registration, trade name reservation, and other incorporation processes.
Coordinate with external service providers and government entities to expedite processes and resolve issues efficiently.
Support HR functions related to employee onboarding, including residency permits, labor contracts, health insurance, and other employee-related services.
Provide guidance to employees on government-related matters, ensuring their rights and responsibilities are understood and upheld.
Uphold the organization's reputation by ensuring all interactions with government entities are professional and compliant.
Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion to maintain trust and credibility.
Implement strategies to streamline administrative processes and reduce turnaround times for government-related tasks.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with government officials, agencies, and relevant stakeholders to facilitate smoother interactions and enhance the organization's reputation.
Skills:
• Must be fluent in English and Arabic
• Must be motivated, energetic, and able to work as a part of a team.
• Good communication and negotiation skills as the job is centered on communication with the client, colleagues, and government authorities.
• Must be able to work on tight deadlines even when under pressure
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and any other software related to Visa and Immigration Consultancy
• Minimum 5 years of experience similar position
• UAE Driving license is mandatory
