Serve as the primary contact between the company and UAE government authorities such as
MOHRE, GDRFA, Abu Dhabi Municipality, Department of Economic Development (DED), and Civil Defense
.
Ensure company operations comply with UAE laws and construction regulations.
Stay updated on government policies and procedures that affect construction companies.
2. Visa & Labor Documentation:
Process
employment visas, labor cards, residency permits, and renewals
for workers and staff.
Handle
visa cancellations and work permit terminations
for exiting employees.
Coordinate with
immigration and labor departments
for new employee work authorizations.
3. Trade License & Regulatory Approvals:
Renew, update, and amend
the company's trade license and construction permits.
Obtain approvals for
construction projects, NOCs (No Objection Certificates), and other regulatory clearances
from Abu Dhabi Municipality and Civil Defense.
Ensure timely submission of documents to avoid fines or delays in operations.
4. Employee & Labor Law Compliance:
Ensure all employees have valid legal documentation, including Emirates IDs and health insurance.
Manage WPS (Wage Protection System) compliance and labor contract registrations.
Assist in legal matters concerning labor disputes, work-related accidents, and complaints with MOHRE.
5. Construction Permits & Site Documentation:
Secure
building permits, site access approvals, and infrastructure NOCs
from relevant authorities.
Coordinate with government agencies for
safety inspections, municipality approvals, and environmental compliance
.
Liaise with Civil Defense for
fire safety certifications and inspections
.
6. Vehicle & Equipment Registrations:
Process
registrations, renewals, and permits for construction vehicles, heavy machinery, and company fleet
.
Handle traffic fines, road permits, and RTA-related matters.
7. Administrative & Office Support:
Maintain accurate records of
all PRO transactions, employee visa statuses, and government communications
.
Prepare periodic reports on
visa renewals, license expirations, and compliance deadlines
.
Support management in legal and administrative duties as required.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Proven experience as a PRO in a construction company
or related industry in Abu Dhabi.
Strong knowledge of UAE
labor laws, immigration processes, and construction-related government procedures
.
Fluent in
Arabic and English
(spoken and written).
Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Familiarity with
government e-services portals
(TAMM, MOHRE, ICA, etc.).
Preferred Experience:
3+ years of PRO experience in a construction company in the UAE.
Knowledge of Abu Dhabi's municipality and construction regulations.
