Job Purpose
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) is responsible for managing all government-related documentation and procedures to ensure compliance with UAE laws and regulations. This includes processing visas, licenses, permits, and other official documentation required for the organization and its employees.
Key Responsibilities Government Relations
• Manage the processing of employee visas (entry permits, residence visas, medicals, and Emirates ID) and ensure timely renewal of all official documents.
• Facilitate the application and renewal of business trade licenses, permits, and other government approvals.
• Handle registrations and cancellations with labor offices, immigration departments, and other UAE government entities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials to streamline processes.
Employee Support
• Assist employees in managing personal government services (e.g., driving license renewals, visa processes for dependents).
• Act as a liaison for resolving issues related to labor contracts, visas, and official documentations.
Compliance and Reporting
• Keep the organization updated on changes to UAE labor laws and government policies.
• Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, immigration regulations, and other statutory requirements.
• Maintain and update records of all official documentation and prepare monthly reports on the status of renewals and new applications.
Other Duties
• Coordinate with internal departments for timely collection of documents and approvals.
• Represent the organization in government and semi-government offices, including ministries, labor offices, and immigration departments.
Skills and Qualifications
• Education : Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience :
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a PRO in the UAE market.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws, immigration rules, and governmental procedures.
• Skills :
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Proficient in MS Office and related tools for reporting and documentation.
• Other Requirements :
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Strong network with UAE government departments and authorities.
Performance Indicators
• Timeliness in completing visa applications, renewals, and cancellations.
• Accuracy in maintaining records and preparing reports.
• Compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations.
• Effective resolution of employee queries related to governmental matters.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
