Job Description

Our client, an international law firm is wishing to recruit an experienced corporate administrator/Public Relations Officer to work in their Dubai office within their corporate team.


This role requires you to assist the corporate team by coordinating with ministries, governmental bodies and authorities, making submissions and processing various legal documents. You are expected to provide excellent service at all times, making positive contributions to building the business of the firm. You will be expected to demonstrate your organisational and interpersonal skills.


• Liaising with the ministries, governmental bodies, notaries, DEDs, free zones and other authorities and reporting back to the lawyers in relation to corporate related matters, including but not limited to company incorporation, share transfers, changes to managers / directors, amendments to articles of association, amendments to licence activities, registration and de-registration of branches.
• Preparation and submission of the clients' correct documentation to the relevant authorities to progress the matters listed above.
• Making enquiries with authorities to support licensing and regulatory matters, including with Municipalities, Land Departments, Health Authorities, Ministry of Human Resources, Immigration Department etc.
• Updating clients and colleagues both verbally and in writing in relation to progress relating to the above tasks.
• Carrying out general administration tasks, filling in timesheets and assisting fee earners, trainees and other paralegals with other ad-hoc duties.

Relevant Experience:

• Strong network of contacts across authorities and notaries.
• Not less than 3 years' experience in a similar position in the UAE.
• Basic knowledge of foreign ownership restrictions and investment laws in the UAE.

A good understanding of the processes and requirements (for both mainland and free zones) for various company / corporate transactions including but not limited to company incorporation, share transfers, changes to managers / directors, amendments to articles
Key Skills and Behaviours:

• Solid Arabic and Englis h language skills (spoken, reading and written).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with acute attention to detail.
• Experience of managing competing demands and working well under pressure.
• Ability to communicate with employees at all levels.
