PUBLIC RELATION OFFICER - EMIRATI As a PRO (Public Relations Officer), you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining effective communication between the company and various government entities, clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and procedures governing business operations in the UAE. You will also be responsible for facilitating the processing of visas, permits, licenses, and other necessary documentation for employees and the company as a whole. Responsibilities.
  • Liaise with government authorities, including the Ministry of Labor, Department of Economic Development, Immigration Department, and other relevant agencies to ensure compliance with regulations and obtain necessary permits and licenses.
  • Manage the visa process for employees, including visa applications, renewals, cancellations, and related documentation.
  • Stay updated on changes in labor laws, immigration policies, and other regulations that may affect the company's operations, and advise management accordingly.
  • Coordinate with external partners, such as legal advisors and translation services, as needed to facilitate the completion of documentation and compliance procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of all relevant documentation and ensure timely renewal of licenses, permits, and visas to avoid any disruptions to business operations.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on matters related to immigration, labor laws, and government regulations.
  • Handle any issues or disputes related to government authorities promptly and professionally, seeking resolutions that are in the best interest of the company.
  • Assist in the organization of corporate events, meetings, and functions, including securing necessary permits and permissions from authorities.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on PRO activities, including visa status, compliance metrics, and regulatory updates, for management review.
  • Uphold the company's values and reputation by maintaining high standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all interactions and communications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working as a PRO or in a similar role in the UAE, with a strong understanding of local laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with government officials and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency In Arabic and English languages (written and spoken).
  • Familiarity with government portals and online systems for visa and permit processing.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
