Public Area Cum Laundry Attendant

Job Summary
An opportunity has arisen for a Housekeeping Laundry Attendant to join our team. The main duties of this role:
• Report to duty on time in full uniform
• Sign the attendance register, Time in and Time out
• Load/ unload trolleys from the vehicle
• Sort out soiled linen into different wash loads
• Keep the work area clean and tidy
• Use the correct operating procedure of all types of machine in the laundry
• Keep the department and machinery clean at all times
• Follow fire and safety procedures in the department
• To attend the training carried out by the hotel management
• Carry out other duties as directed by Housekeeping manager and team leader
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
• Successfully completed Secondary Education
• 1 years experience in a similar role
• Good command of English (written and spoken)
• Knowledgeable in Fabrics
• Knowledgeable in use of Laundry Machineries
• Knowledgeable in use of Laundry Chemicals
• Knowledgeable in use of Laundry Spotting Chemicals
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED1,100.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
• Umm al-Quwain City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
