Job Description

Providing family counselling / psychotherapy and intervention in family crises, whether at the individual or family level, for cases referred by the case management officer / case coordinator in order to maintain the cohesion and safety of the family

Providing family / psychological / social consultations of various kinds for cases that require it by applying scientific methods in dealing with different cases to reach appropriate solutions

Receiving cases that need psychological support and support and classifying them into specific areas to lay the foundations for their effective treatment and building an information database to follow-up, study and analyses developments related to cases

Study cases of emotional disorder and behavioural deviation in partnership with the social worker to develop the appropriate treatment and training plan

Organizing awareness courses to provide preventive, educational and therapeutic services in the field of psychological, social and economic counselling and entrepreneurship for families and individuals

Organize and manage therapy, group counselling, group counselling, and family support groups by reaching out to others with similar expertise and experience

Developing scientific knowledge by conducting research and studies related to psychological, family and social problems, their size, prevalence, ways to confront them, ways to prevent them. etc. in coordination with the Department of Research and Studies

Planning, organizing and implementing studies on various groups of society, presenting and interpreting their results, benefiting from it, and carrying out any other tasks assigned to it by the head of the department / director of the department.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Doctorate or master's degree in psychology, social work or family counselling

Obtain a social care professional license in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi by the Department of Community Development based on their field of study and experience

Years of experience not less than 10 years

Experience in the field of providing family counselling - psychological counselling - social service

Nationality: Emirati - Gulf - Arab
