Job Title: PSBD Cash Custodian

Job Summary:

The PSBD (Private Security Business Department) Cash Custodian is responsible for the secure handling, storage, and transportation of cash and other valuables. This role involves adhering to strict security protocols, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the safety of cash during transit and storage.

Key Responsibilities:

Cash Handling and Transportation:

1. Safely transport cash and valuables between locations, such as banks, ATMs, and business premises.

2. Load and unload cash containers and other valuables securely.

3. Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.

Security Protocols:

1. Adhere to all PSBD regulations and company security procedures.

2. Conduct regular inspections of cash containers, vehicles, and equipment to ensure they meet security standards.

3. Maintain a high level of vigilance and awareness to prevent theft, loss, or unauthorized access.

Record Keeping and Documentation:

1. Maintain accurate records of cash and valuables handled, including amounts, locations, and dates.

2. Complete required documentation and reports promptly and accurately.

3. Ensure all transactions are recorded and reconciled in accordance with company policies.

Safety and Compliance:

1. Ensure the safety and security of cash and valuables during transportation and storage.

2. Comply with all health and safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

3. Report any security breaches, incidents, or discrepancies to the supervisor immediately.

Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance:

1. Ensure the cash transport vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and in good working order.

2. Conduct regular checks of security equipment, such as locks, alarms, and surveillance systems.

3. Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.

Customer Service:

1. Interact professionally and courteously with clients and colleagues.

2. Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.

3. Provide exceptional service to ensure client satisfaction and trust.

Training and Development:

1. Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on security protocols and procedures.

2. Stay informed about new security technologies and techniques.

3. Assist with the training of new cash custodians and security personnel as needed.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Valid PSBD license and certification as a Cash Custodian.

3. Proven experience in cash handling and transportation.

4. Strong knowledge of security procedures and protocols.

5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

6. Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects.

7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

9. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Working Conditions:

- PSBD Cash Custodians typically work in secure environments, such as banks, financial institutions, and armored transport vehicles.

- The role involves physical activity, including lifting, carrying, and operating security equipment.

- Standard working hours apply, but overtime, evening, and weekend work may be required during peak periods or special assignments.

- The work environment may include exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and potential security risks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,900.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
