Our client, a leading name in EPC contracting works & Manufacturing of Skid Packages is seeking to hire a Proposal Manager for their office based in UAE.Job Responsibilities:

• Manage Proposal Process: Oversee the entire proposal process from identifying opportunities to securing awards, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness at each stage.
• Evaluate RFQ Requirements: Conduct thorough evaluations of Request for Quotation (RFQ) requirements and project specifications to ensure alignment with company capabilities and objectives.
• Ensure Proposal Accuracy: Verify scope definition, technical and commercial accuracy, completeness, and adherence to deadlines for all proposal submissions.
• Provide Sales Support: Offer comprehensive customer support to the sales team through bid clarification meetings, pre-bid technical meetings, and other interactions as needed.
• Technical Expertise: Possess knowledge in Piping and Structural E&I discipline, as well as familiarity with Rotating & Static Equipment Packages to enhance proposal quality and relevance.
• Documentation Preparation: Develop data sheets, specifications, purchasing documents, and conduct technical evaluations for mechanical equipment and bulk items, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Stay informed about industry standards and regulations, including those of KOC, ADNOC, SAUDI ARAMCO, PDO, Qatar Energy Shell DEPs, and international codes, to ensure compliance in proposals.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise and coordinate with internal resources such as other departments, sales, and external stakeholders like clients and sub-vendors to foster collaborative relationships and a cohesive team culture.
• Process Improvement: Assist in the development and enhancement of quoting tools and procedures to streamline the proposal process, improve accuracy, and increase the success rate of proposals.
• Leadership & Team Management: Demonstrate leadership skills by effectively managing and leading Proposal Engineers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring the quality of their work.

Education & other requirements:

• Degree in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualifications
• Minimum 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry with a strong background in process design preferably with OEMs and EPC
• Knowledge in process simulation software HYSYS & UNISIM and relevant engineering tools.
• Knowledge of international codes, standards & best practices in process engineering.
• Experience in Gas Processing, Gas Treatment will be an added advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Knowledge in PFD,P&ID, 3D Model, Hazop Review
• Experience in PSV sizing/Line sizing/BDV sizing

Salary: Upto AED 30000Working Hours/Days: 8.30am to 6pm (Lunch 1 hour break) / 6 days a weekJob Location: UAE
