Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Property Maintenance Coordinator to manage day-to-day maintenance issues, provide excellent customer service to tenants, and ensure timely resolution of maintenance complaints. The ideal candidate will also assist in property inspections and occasionally support the recovery of tenant payments. Basic proficiency in Arabic is required to facilitate communication with a diverse tenant base.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintenance Management:
• Oversee and coordinate property maintenance activities to ensure properties are well-maintained and functional.
• Respond to and resolve maintenance issues reported by tenants in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors for repairs and maintenance, managing schedules and budgets as necessary.
• Customer Service:
Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints related to property issues.
Act as a liaison between tenants and property management, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.
• Tenant Payment Support:
• Occasionally assist with the recovery of overdue payments from tenants.
• Maintain accurate records of tenant payment status and coordinate with the finance team as needed.
• Property Inspections:
Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure properties meet required standards.
Prepare inspection reports and follow up with necessary actions to address any identified issues.
• Arabic Language Communication:
• Use basic Arabic to communicate effectively with Arabic-speaking tenants and vendors, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any language barriers as needed.
Required Qualifications:
• Basic proficiency in Arabic is essential.
• Previous experience in property maintenance, property management, or a similar role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to address tenant concerns professionally.
• Knowledge of property maintenance procedures and building systems (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC).
• Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Familiarity with payment systems and collections processes is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
• Ability to work in Ajman and manage properties in the local area.
• A problem-solving attitude and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Valid UAE driver's license may be required for inspections and property visits.
