We are looking for an experienced Construction Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will manage the financial aspects of multiple construction projects, including preparing consolidated budgets, monitoring vendor contracts, analysing production costs and ensuring the accuracy of invoice statements.

Position Responsibilities:

-Maintain all project financial records for internal/external audit and tax purposes.

-Record all financial transactions in the general ledger in an accurate and timely manner.

-Reconcile bank, related party ledgers, and customer/vendor accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to ensure that the balances recorded in the system are realistic

-Assist with month-end closing process, prepare monthly accruals, update fixed asset registers and reconcile physical assets with all branches

-Invoicing customers and following up on payments, coordinating invoices, checks and payments with vendors and ensuring accuracy of accounts.

-Participate in audits and provide support to auditors.

-Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information.

-Must have a strong understanding of using accounting software and be proficient in MS Office programs

-Must be quickly orientated and able to handle different accounting tasks and ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.

Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a construction company.Excellent reading and writing skills in English, fluent oral communication skills in English (preferably Chinese), and any nationality;
