Job Description

You will be responsible for developing and overseeing comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations. This role involves strategic planning, coordination of construction activities and effective communication with project stakeholders. You will ensure project timelines, resource efficiency and adherence to quality standards, contributing to the successful execution of construction projects. You must possess strong understanding of construction processes, project management methodologies and the ability to proactively address challenges to optimize project outcomes. You will be responsible for all aspects of construction project(s) planning and execution, ensuring effective project management, successful outcomes as per project plan and deadlines.

Job Responsibilities:



1. Project Planning and Strategy:



Develop and implement strategic project plans for all project's disciplines, considering timelines, resource allocation, dependencies and to align with organizational goals.

Integrate project management methodologies to enhance overall project efficiency.

Collaborate with project execution team, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.

2. Scheduling and Timeline Management:



Create detailed schedules for project execution activities, incorporating milestones and critical paths to meet the project deadlines.

Employ project management software to track and manage timelines effectively.

Regularly update schedules to reflect changes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

3. Resource Allocation and Optimization:



Analyze resource requirements for Project execution, ensuring optimal utilization of manpower, materials and equipment.

Implement resource leveling techniques to balance workloads and maximize efficiency.

Optimize resource utilization to enhance project efficiency.

4. Risk Management and Mitigation:



Identify and assess risks associated with project execution works, developing comprehensive mitigation plans to ensure safety.

Utilize project management experience to proactively address challenges and minimize project disruptions.

5. Budgeting and Cost Control:



Collaborate with the finance team to establish and manage budgets for all project(s) related components and eliminate any variations.

Monitor expenses, analyze cost variations, and implement cost control measures.

Apply project management expertise to control costs and ensure adherence to financial plans.

6. Quality Assurance and Compliance:



Implement quality assurance measures for pre, operational and post projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Conduct regular inspections to uphold quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

7. Stakeholder Communication:



Foster effective communication with project managers, subcontractors, team members, consultants, authorities and external stakeholders.

Utilize project management experience to streamline communication channels and enhance collaboration with all parties involved in project execution.

Ensure timely reporting to the concerns parties with proper charts, data as per project plans.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):



1. Project Delivery Timeframes:



Evaluate the timely completion of projects, measuring adherence to planned schedules for project activities.

Measure the percentage of tasks completed within the planned schedule for projects.

2. Quality of Planning Documentation:



Assess the clarity and completeness of project plans, schedules and resource allocation documents.

3. Resource Productivity:



Assess the efficiency of resource allocation and utilization, optimizing productivity across all project(s) execution teams.

Evaluate the efficiency of resource allocation by comparing planned vs. actual utilization rates.

4. Risk Mitigation Effectiveness:



Measure the success of risk mitigation strategies through tracking the resolution of identified risks, evaluating the impact on project timelines and outcomes.

5. Problem Resolution:



Measure the efficiency in resolving issues related to project(s) planning and minimizing disruptions.

6. Budgetary Compliance:



Monitor the alignment of actual expenses with planned budgets for all areas of project works.

7. Stakeholder Satisfaction:



Gauge stakeholder satisfaction through feedback and collaboration effectiveness, reflecting strong project management and planning skills.

8. Project Documentation Quality:



Evaluate the clarity and completeness of project plans, schedules and resource allocation documents.

9. Continuous Improvement Initiatives:



Track and implement continuous improvement initiatives based on project management expertise, enhancing planning methodologies.

10. Communication and Collaboration:



Evaluate the effectiveness of communication and collaboration with teams and stakeholders through feedback and project outcomes.

Role's Requirements



10+ Years' experience as a Planning or Construction Manager/Engineer or similar lead role

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Civil/Architectural/Mechanical or related discipline

Municipality License for G+2 or more is mandatory

. Meticulous Experience in all aspects of project's management, planning and budgeting

Knowledge of business process and functions (Operations, Finance, procurement and contracts management etc.)

Excellent communication skills in English

Sound knowledge of AutoCAD, ERP systems and of latest technologies for reports and analysis

Experience with consultants and construction project management companies in handling multiple projects is highly desirable.

. Experience with Concept design and finishing (interiors, fitout, MEP etc.) is preferable.

Effective project management, organizational, negotiation, interpersonal and networking skills.
