Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Project / Package Engineer to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG) in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The Project / Package Engineer will be part of an engineering team providing project and engineering services to large and small projects.
As a package engineer you will be responsible for managing and delivering a series of mechanical packages. These mechanical packages are associated with mining, metals and industrial facilities, and will typically include, among others, tanks (agitated and static), pumps, compressors, and other mechanical equipment.
As a project engineer you will be for supporting either a project director or portfolio manager with a series of projects, and will be responsible for aspects project management, project controls and engineering management of specific scopes of work.
You bring to the role;
BSc/BEng in mechanical engineering.
Registration as a professional engineer. Alternatively, registration as a candidate
professional engineer actively working towards professional registration.
Minimum five years project or package engineering experience.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Good planning and organizational skills.
Ability to function with minimal supervision.
Working knowledge of industry standards, regulations and codes pertinent to the
mechanical engineering discipline.
Ability to function as a member of a multidisciplinary team and coordinate mechanical
activities between disciplines.
Safety awareness.
Preferred;
Sound knowledge of Hatch 3D data centric design systems
Sound knowledge of Hatch engineering management systems
Ability to delegate tasks and effectively supervise others
Experience in the use of procedures and workflows in the execution of projects.
