Risk Coordinator
General Description:
Ensure that documentation to COMPANY, CONTRACTOR’s all teams, Subcontractors, Suppliers and Vendors, other third parties and etc.
The Risk Coordinator is responsible to be tasked with identifying and addressing potential problems for a Contractor’s safety or insurance, as litigation may eventually be necessary for companies which do not employ these coordinators. Risk coordinator must take all necessary steps to reduce ability to provide professional consultation and problem solving on complex risk issues
Responsibilities:
Manage all claims and investigate incidents, analyzing viability and risk and providing solutions to minimize exposure
Assist legal counsel and act as a representative of the company during litigation
Conduct safety training programs and inspections to ensure staff and customers abide policies and standards
Update and implement risk management policies and safety standards
Designing and implementing an overall risk management process for the organisation, which includes an analysis of the financial impact on Contractor when risks occur
Performing a risk assessment: Analysing current risks and identifying potential risks that are affecting Contractor
Performing a risk evaluation: Evaluating Contractor’s previous handling of risks, and comparing potential risks with criteria set out by Contractor such as costs and legal requirements
Risk reporting tailored to the relevant audience. (Educating the top management about the most significant risks to the business; ensuring business heads understand the risks that might affect their departments; ensuring individuals understand their own accountability for individual risks)
Conducting policy and compliance audits, which will include liaising with internal and external auditors
•Building risk awareness amongst staff by providing support and training within Contractor
 
Minimum Skills/Knowledge:
Good understanding of Gas Plant
Good written and spoken English language skills: shall be good in English who could write a well-made Incident Investigation Report
 
Education/Experience:
10 years experience
Int. recognized qualification; Postgraduate Engineering Diploma or -Degree
Addition Desirable Skills and Experienced:
Arabic language skills
Korean language skills
Middle East working experience
Previous or equivalent experience as a Document Control Work
