We are seeking an experienced and skilled Site Architect with at least 8-10 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of architecture and construction on-site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. The Site Architect will collaborate with the design team to develop detailed plans and specifications, coordinate with contractors and subcontractors, and provide technical expertise throughout the construction process. Strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of building codes and construction methods are essential for success in this role. The Site Architect will play a key role in delivering high-quality, innovative architectural solutions that exceed client expectations. Duties and Responsibilities: Lead the architectural design process for assigned projects, ensuring all technical and aesthetic requirements are met. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate engineering, construction, and design elements into the overall site plan. Supports the supervision of the entire project. Ensure proper coordination with team, consultants, and contractors, production department, Design Department and Engineering Department. Attends meetings with Clients, both internal and external. Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and incorporate feedback into design revisions. Review and approve architectural plans, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations. Coordinates work with engineering and construction units at project site. Reviews, approves, and issues detailed design and construction drawings and specifications prepared by others. (Coordinate all aspects of submittals, review and approvals against contract requirements and when applicable report and advise on deviations from the same.) Reviewing, approving, and processing all architectural technical submittals. Coordinating and supervising the work of all architectural activities and operations related architectural scope of work. (Undertake overview supervision duties on site to ensure general compliance of the works with shop drawings, specification and contract requirements and when necessary to address deficiencies associate with the same.) Performs general architectural works including architectural design, site visits and inspections and prepares related reports. Monitoring / Inspecting the interior architectural works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manual. Monitor the implementation of designs and drawings. Give clear, concise and understandable instructions to Contractors to avoid abortive works and errors. Reviews CAD drawings, renderings, layouts, study models, construction documents, and color boards prepared by Architectural Designers. Makes new proposals and/or modify existing drawings when necessary. Ensures compliance with applicable codes and standards as well as client requirements. Prepare preliminary answers RFI\xe2\x80\x99s related to architectural works. Review and inspection of materials and suppliers to ensure required standards. Ensures the quality of project execution. Ensures that designs and plans are executed in actual construction. Coordinates and assists with the inspection of completed works, and assist with the handover of the building and other parts of the scope of works. Prepare \xe2\x80\x9cSign-off\xe2\x80\x9d package for completed architectural works, or sections of works, with completed documentation for sign-off by Project Manager. Review as-built drawings. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Architecture Minimum of 10 years of relevant site supervision experience with 5 years in the UAE construction supervision experience with a consulting firm. Strong technical knowledge in interior details and site. Design Skills (Autocad, Revit) Legal knowledge (Authorities), Team Skills Buildings and construction knowledge Strong knowledge of all interior material and interface details Strong knowledge in accommodating/coordinating medical equipment\'s requirements. Good knowledge of the building code and hospital guidelines. Knowledge/experience in AUTO CAD Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent command of Microsoft Office business solution (excel, word). Ability to review and comment properly on necessary documentation. Excellent understanding of specifications and Authority requirements. Complete project understanding in given discipline, from start to handover. Good team player, proactive thinker, systemic and organized, innovative & problem solving. Efficient in time and task management. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of local design codes / regulations and possess excellent problem-solving skills as well as the ability to multitask and work well under pressure. They should have good communication skills in order to effectively collaborate and also be able to communicate effectively with the Contractor.
