DescriptionClient wants a Major Project Planning Manager / Director that is able to see the bigger picture, manage client, consultant and report the honest facts and reality of the progress and program.You will be managing a sizeable planning team as the scope of the project is still being managed but final cost of construction will be circa 4-6 Billion AED.Client

  • Track record on 2 Billion AED + Projects from Airports , Major Malls & Hotels
We want someone that sees beyond the baseline and sees risk & issues before they occur. This person will understand how to work with a client to ensure that all obstacles are removed to ensure that progress and profitability occurs for both client and contractor.You will have to have led a Major Project based on site as Planning Lead or Planning Director. The client wants someone that has walked this path and knows the challenges that occur on such Major Projects as change management, claims and issues are just part and parcel of Major Projects in the Gulf so prior knowledge & experience is non-negotiable.The following is 100% crucial * Clear strength in stakeholder management & communication
  • Analytical and methodical approach to work
  • Sound Technical & Engineering background for Tier 1 International Main Contractors
  • Commercially and contractually astute
  • Personality to win over people and build long term relationships
  • Able to manage a sizeable team and have a track record of doing so
Criteria
  • Planning Lead / Director for Main Contractors?
  • Solid career history & references available upon request
  • Candidates must have prior Gulf Experience on Major Projects worth 2 Billion AED+ Yes this will be a very limited pool of individuals we know
  • Degree Educated is desired
