Job Description

. Develop initial proof of concept and prepare detailed architectural design for the Group's real estate development projects

. Participate in initial feasibility studies and work in collaboration with the Finance department for financial inputs

. Develop dimensional specification to ensure the structure is safe, efficient, stable and fit for purpose

. Coordinate with 3rd party consultants to obtain detailed and scalable engineering designs and ensure engineering standards are adhered to in incorporating the drawings in the final master plan of the project

. Work with the Draughtsman to ensure engineering elements have been integrated in the detailed design

. Liaise with SBC to carry out periodic onsite checks during the development phase to ensure alignment to approved design and highlight any deviations for timely action

. Review any design change requests during the development phase to ascertain suitability of changes and make recommendations or seek management approval as required

. Provide necessary assistance in obtaining approvals from approving authorities such as the Land department, Municipality etc.

. Work close with the Document Controller to ensure that all versions of the engineering design are maintained appropriately and accurately for ease of reference and retrieval

. Provide inputs to technical and management reports as required

Requirements

. Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering or any relevant discipline

. Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience

. AutoCAD software knowledge and applicability is essential

. High competency in using AUTOCAD

. Knowledge of using Revit or similar system (preffered)

. MS Office

. Fluent in English and preferably understands Arabic, other languages such as Hindi is also a plus

. Must have a drivers license or willing to convert existing license to Omani license

. Knowledge of working in the local Omani or the GCC is preferred
