Position Summary:
Project Controller is responsible for overseeing and controlling all financial, schedule, and performance aspects of the construction project. This role ensures that the project remains on budget, on schedule, and within the established scope by monitoring project progress, managing project financials, and providing detailed reports on key performance indicators (KPIs). The Project Controller works closely with project managers, engineers, and the construction team to identify and mitigate risks and deviations from the baseline program.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Control and Monitoring:
- Implement and maintain the project's baseline schedule, budget, and scope.
- Monitor and track project progress against the baseline program, identifying any deviations.
- Analyze performance data and project trends to provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
2. Financial Management:
- Manage the project budget and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct financial forecasting, budget allocation, and variance analysis.
- Prepare financial reports, including cost-to-complete forecasts and earned value management.
3. Risk and Issue Management:
- Identify risks and issues that may impact project timelines, costs, or scope.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies in collaboration with the project team.
- Monitor the impact of any scope changes on the project's budget and schedule.
4. Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare and present weekly/monthly progress reports, including project performance metrics.
- Ensure clear communication between all project stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and management.
- Update project stakeholders on key decisions, changes, and progress against KPIs.
5. Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure that project documentation is maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Track project deliverables and ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Support audits and quality assurance processes.
6. Collaboration with Project Teams:
- Work closely with project managers and team members to align on project goals.
- Coordinate with financial, procurement, and engineering departments to ensure proper resource allocation and expenditure tracking.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project control, project management, or financial analysis, preferably in construction or real estate development.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and financial systems (e.g., ERP, CostX).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of construction contracts and regulations is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
