Overview :
The Civil Project Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating civil engineering projects from inception to completion. They ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
• Project Planning and Coordination :
• Develop and implement detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate with various teams (design, construction, procurement) to ensure project objectives are met.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and safety standards.
• Budget and Cost Management :
• Prepare project budgets and track expenses.
• Approve and monitor project expenditures to stay within the allocated budget.
• Identify and address cost overruns or budget issues.
• Team Management :
• Lead a team of engineers, subcontractors, and laborers.
• Conduct regular meetings with team members to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Provide leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stakeholder Communication :
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and suppliers.
• Provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders on project progress.
• Address client concerns and implement changes when necessary.
• Risk Management :
• Identify potential risks to the project timeline, budget, and quality.
• Develop strategies to mitigate or address risks.
• Resolve issues or conflicts that arise during the project.
• Quality Control :
• Ensure that construction activities meet required quality standards.
• Conduct inspections and supervise construction work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Project Documentation :
• Maintain accurate records of all project-related documentation (contracts, change orders, progress reports, etc.).
• Prepare and submit final reports upon project completion.
• Compliance and Safety :
• Ensure that safety protocols are followed at all times on-site.
• Oversee the implementation of safety measures and conduct regular safety checks.
Skills and Qualifications :
• Education : Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience : At least 5-7 years of experience in civil engineering and project management.
• Certifications : PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
• Skills :
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED13,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
