Your mission

The position is a 1-year contract (with potential extension and possibility to join BeWunder team on a full-time/permanent basis after the project completion).

For the majority of the project duration, the Project Manager will be based in Osaka, with travels to BeWunder Dubai office.

• Managing, controlling and coordinating both - project planning and execution of complex and challenging AVL projects within permanent installations for EXPO 2025 pavilions in Osaka, Japan
• Leading the projects from its preparation, execution to completion (including the entire project organization and processing)
• Liaising with the client(s) and applying necessary actions to solve issues pertaining to clients\' requirements
• Continuously building and maintaining a strong network of clients
• Participating in tender process, i.e. design, submission and review
• Observing projects quality, deadlines and cost control
• Tendering, negotiating and awarding of supplier contracts and subcontracting services
• Monitoring all aspects of project management, from project controlling to claim management
• Ensuring strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements on all projects
• Providing leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, fee and pricing decisions
• Managing and leading multiple projects simultaneously from preconstruction through to closeout
• Overseeing the development of the master project schedule and managing its implementation
• Providing regular compliance reports to senior management
• Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for executive team members
• Securing growth opportunities and initiating new projects
• Other project delivery related duties as assigned
• Collaborating with Administration on required tender documentation and other administrative projects related requirements
• Collaborating with Crew Management on resource planning of assigned project using EasyJob system
• Collaborating with HSE and QAQC on necessary projects on-site/off-site, in line with HSE - QAQC requirements & compliances
• Collaborating with Contract Management as required
• Coordination with Japanese project stakeholders related to Expo 2025 Projects
• Coordination with local stakeholders to support BeWunder in being operationally successful in Expo 2025.

Your profile

• A degree in Audiovisuals, Construction Management, Architecture or equivalent
• PMP certification
• For this particular role, German OR Japanese language proficiency is highly desirable. English is a must
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar position
• Extensive Project Management experience in permanent installations for museums, cultural projects or equivalent
• Experience in managing large budgets
• Technical knowledge of audio, video and lighting systems and control
• Knowledge and experience of current entertainment technology required for large scale Installations
• Flexible to work based on the requirements of the industry
• Excellent expertise with Microsoft Office and popular project management and control software solutions
• Good knowledge in AutoCAD, Vectorworks is highly desirable
• Leadership experience in major construction, entertainment and/or event projects
• Good understanding of technical, business and contractual correlations in all complexity.
