KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Develop and oversee project work plans, ensuring deliverables are met and closely monitored. Handle the day-to-day operational aspects of projects, addressing challenges to maintain timely delivery. Foster effective collaboration and communication with stakeholders to guarantee customer satisfaction. Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure its proper storage. Provide regular project updates to senior management, including reports on project status, challenges, risks, and mitigation plans. Ensure project delivery within the stipulated time frame and budget constraints. Stay abreast of project performance monitoring principles and metrics.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: A solid grasp of Project Management Principles and Methodologies, including Waterfall, Hybrid, or Agile. PMI Certification is a plus. Over 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to the banking sector. Demonstrated experience in the Banking, Security (Custody etc) and Issuer Services (IPO etc) domain. Drives projects to completion using cross-functional project management best practices Spends an equal amount of time working with people inside his/her team and with points of contact in other teams. Manages 1-2 cross-team projects that generally span multiple teams across the company Focuses heavily on cross-functional communication to ensure key decisions and status surrounding projects are clear to all Good understanding to the technical application security, compliance and audit requirements Experience in coaching and coordinating agile delivery squads to deliver solutions as efficiently as possible Experience in supporting the product owner in backlog refinement to a level which is acceptable for the team to estimate and deliver Ability to plan 2 steps ahead of the team and surface hidden risks Ability to work with business stakeholders to ensure requirements are delivered and to ensure customer satisfaction Hands on experience as Project Manager - Ability to manage more than one project at a time Resolve any challenges on projects to enable the teams to deliver on time Provides report on status of the project under execution, challenges, risk and mitigation plan Hands on experience in using various Project Management Tools Experience in Vendor/partner management S YNECHRON'S DIVERSITY & INCLUSION STATEMENT
