Responsibilities include managing site operations to ensure timely, budget-friendly, and quality project completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring client satisfaction by maintaining effective communication and delivering high-quality services, will manage requirements and priorities from Sales, oversee marine operations projects, including maintenance and installation activities.A key responsibility will be to ensure that all quality and safety standards are upheld throughout every phase of the project, guaranteeing successful and compliant project delivery.Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Execution: - Develop and implement detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations. - Coordinate with Clients, Consultants, and other stakeholders, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met. - Oversee the installation of marine barriers, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality & HSE standards.
2. Site Management - Ensure smooth daily on-site operations, including labor, equipment, and materials. - Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance. - Address and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the project.
3. Team Leadership: - Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team, including subcontractors and site personnel. - Conduct regular meetings to communicate project goals, timelines, and updates. - Facilitate training and development opportunities to build team competencies and enhance performance.
4. Safety & Compliance: - Implement and enforce strict safety protocols to protect the workforce and environment. - Ensure all work complies with company policies, industry standards, and coastguard requirements. Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments and develop contingency plans as necessary. Investigate and report any incidents or accidents.
5. Budget Management - Responsible for project budgets, tracking expenses, and managing cost controls. - Prepare and present financial reports, ensuring transparency and accountability. - Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
6. Client & Stakeholder Communication: - Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing concerns. - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies. - Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality work on schedule. Qualifications andExperience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is considered an advantage. - - At least 8 to 10 years of project management experience specifically within the marine construction industry.
- Understanding of budgeting, financial forecasts, and cost control to optimize project success.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental standards in marine environments.
- A proven track record in managing large-scale marine barrier projects successfully.Key Competencies -
