Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Project Manager (Fit-Out) to join our team based in Doha, Qatar.

This position is responsible for overseeing fit-out projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strong understanding of contract management, site operations, and the ability to lead small teams. The ideal candidate will possess experience in reviewing contractor submittals and ensuring compliance with project specifications.

We envisage success in this role to include; Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and work plans to ensure timely delivery of projects. Leading and managing small project teams, fostering collaboration and effective communication among team members. Reviewing and negotiating contracts with clients and contractors, ensuring all terms are clear and adhered to. Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and addressing any issues that arise. Reviewing contractor submittals, including shop drawings and material samples, ensuring they meet project specifications and standards. Evaluating and recommending contract Variation Orders, payments certificates and invoices for client approval. Reviewing and reporting on Cost Estimates, design submissions, technical reports. Identifying, assessing and mitigating project risks. Resolve problems through objective and systematic analysis. Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and subcontractors, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns. Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards, adhering to industry regulations and best practices. Identifying potential issues early and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 5+ years of relevant experience partnered with a Bachelor of Architecture. Experience in Fit-out projects with architectural background.

Knowledgeable in contracts, site work, managing small team and reviewing contractors submittals. Consultant experience preferable. Good written and oral communication.
