Technical Planning and Oversight:- Develop and implement comprehensive plans for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of hard services and engineering systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.- Conduct thorough assessments of existing infrastructure to identify potential vulnerabilities, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement innovative solutions to enhance the reliability, efficiency, and sustainability of facility systems.2. Preventive Maintenance:- Establish preventive maintenance programs for critical equipment and systems, ensuring regular inspections, testing, and servicing to minimize downtime and mitigate risks.- Monitor equipment performance metrics and trends, proactively identifying and addressing issues before they escalate into costly failures or disruptions.3. Compliance and Regulatory Requirements:- Stay abreast of relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards governing facility operations, ensuring full compliance with safety, environmental, and building codes.- Coordinate with regulatory agencies and external auditors to facilitate inspections, audits, and certifications for engineering systems and infrastructure.4. Emergency Response and Crisis Management:- Develop and implement emergency response plans and protocols to effectively manage crises, such as power outages, equipment failures, or natural disasters.- Conduct drills and simulations to test the readiness and effectiveness of emergency procedures and provide training to staff on response protocols.5. Budget and Resource Management:- Prepare and manage budgets for hard services and engineering activities, optimizing resource allocation to achieve cost-effective outcomes without compromising quality or reliability.- Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate contracts, and oversee service agreements to ensure value for money and adherence to performance standards.6. Technical Support for Events:- Collaborate with event organizers and stakeholders to assess technical requirements for major events, providing expertise and support in planning and executing infrastructure setups, power distribution, and logistics.- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries and troubleshooting during events, coordinating rapid response efforts to address any issues or emergencies.7.
