Project Manager - Event Management & Exhibitions

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management and exhibitions, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Execution:
- Lead the planning and execution of events and exhibitions from concept to completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
2. Client Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of their needs.
- Manage client expectations and provide regular updates on project progress.
- Foster and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business.
3. Team Coordination:
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of project team members.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring team members are aligned with project goals.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to team members as needed.
4. Logistics and Operations:
- Manage all logistical aspects of events and exhibitions, including venue selection, vendor management, and transportation.
- Ensure all operational elements are in place, including permits, insurance, and compliance with regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the planning and execution phases.
6. Marketing and Promotion:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies for events and exhibitions.
- Assist in the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, websites, and social media campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing efforts, making adjustments as needed.
7. Post-Event Analysis:
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of events and exhibitions.
- Gather feedback from clients, attendees, and team members to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare detailed reports and present findings to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the event management and exhibition industry.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale events and exhibitions successfully.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Project Management (PMP or similar).
- Experience with digital and hybrid events.
- Knowledge of current trends and innovations in the event management industry.
