Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends; determine system improvements; implement change
Coordinate and manage internal and external resources to accomplish project objectives
Establish and maintain relationships with third party vendors, in support of Supply Chain department
Create project documentation for project planning, requirements analysis, risk management, project execution and reporting
Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; read professional publications; maintain personal networks; participate in professional organizations
Perform risk assessments and manage the risk mitigation actions
Manage any changes in project scope, schedule, cost or other issues
Execute the project and measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Ensure that quality and safety standards are adhered to and met
Utilise the company databases and applications to keep track of project progress by controlling manpower and material expenses, accounting, costing and billing
Regularly report the project\'s progress to company management and, if applicable, to clients
Enhance the organizational reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments and agreeing to project objectives
Experience & Education:
8+ Years of project management experience; defense industry preferred
Proven track record of leading a team and delivery of on time within budget projects
Bachelor degree and/or equivalent technical qualification in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering
PMP, Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification preferred
Key Skills:
Strong ability to work under frequent job pressure generated by short and inflexible deadlines
Strong people leadership skills in a cross matrix organizational environment
Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills at all levels within the organization
Very strong ability to plan, coordinate and drive the execution of project tasks assigned to project team members and suppliers
