Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in electrical engineering, particularly in distribution and substation systems, to lead and manage a high-value 16 million AED project on Abu Dhabi Island. This role requires a seasoned professional with a

minimum of 10 years of experience in the electrical distribution and substation sector

. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery, managing resources, and maintaining high safety, quality, and financial standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget management. Ensure all project phases are completed on time, within scope, and within the approved budget. Coordinate with the design, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure timely execution of project activities. Facilitate effective communication between all parties and ensure that all stakeholders are informed of project progress and issues. Provide regular updates and reporting on the status of the project, including challenges and solutions. Identify potential project risks, assess their impact, and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure adherence to safety standards, including implementing necessary measures to minimize workplace accidents and hazards. Manage the allocation of resources, ensuring that the right personnel, equipment, and materials are available when needed. Monitor and track project expenses, ensuring that costs do not exceed the approved budget. Prepare and review project financial forecasts and ensure effective cost control. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and ensure that all team members are properly trained and supported. Ensure that all project documentation, including contracts, permits, and reports, are maintained accurately and are readily available for review. Monitor compliance with local regulations and industry standards throughout the duration of the project. Review and approve project-related documentation, such as change orders, technical reports, and progress claims.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in managing electrical projects, particularly in distribution systems and substations. Proven experience managing projects of similar scale (preferably in the UAE or Middle East) and a solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
