Candidate must have 8+ years experience in Construction, Renovation and Modification
• Plan, schedule and execute Project Plan.
• Visit the construction site to assess practical challenges and study relevant reports for suggesting modifications.
• Identify possible challenges and create a well-drafted cost analysis report for the project.
• Ensure timely sourcing of required raw material and tools by contacting respective vendors.
• Ensure appropriate implementation of measures taken during each step of project execution.
• Contribute to the commercial aspects of the company's projects by collaborating with appropriate professionals.
Skills
• Established track record of working in the Civil and Construction sector as an engineer or project manager.
• Ability to solve intricate problems using engineering concepts and modeling software.
• Eager to work in a variety of setups that include on-site and in-office activities.
• Strong command of creating clear, concise, and technically accurate project reports.
• Good command of managing different aspects of an ongoing construction project with a knack for motivating the workforce effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in the field of Civil Engineering.
• Should have UAE experience in the field of Interior Fit-Out and contracting for a minimum of 5-10 years.
• Good communication and Negotiation skills- Oral & Written.
• Mandatory UAE Experience and good knowledge in Technical And commercial part of Interior Fit Out/ Architectural Products.
• Review project drawings and specifications to gain full understanding of project scope, client goals and expectations, and resource requirements for each phase of the project.
• Assist in soliciting and coordinating subcontractor and supplier bids for labor, material, work schedules, project negotiation on Payment terms and equipment.
• Should be experienced in handling the entire coordination of project related supplies, Local purchases, Logistics from project site inception stage to project completion.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of general contracts, project schedules, procurement schedules and sequencing logic.
• Oversee the activities and performance of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Manage client interaction and promote positive relationships with all the stake holders/ Office staff / workers/ sub-contractors & suppliers.
• Monitor project progress to ensure compliance with financial, operational, and scheduling requirements.
• The decisions made by them must be based on facts and solid evidence rather than speculation or instincts.
• Excellent skills to negotiate with suppliers & Sub contractors in terms of work quality and attain desired payment terms.
• Should have knowledge in working on AutoCAD- 2D and skill set in reading the drawings properly for doing quantity take off., site survey and preparing BOQ/ quotations.
• Must have worked at Interior project sites to understand Project, Procurement planning, Project scheduling, Site / Project Engineering & Supervision, Records upkeep etc.
• Must have worked in at least couple of large-scale commercial projects to understand the essence of how the entire project cycle operates.
• Knowledge to prepare BOQ, BOM mentioning material specifications, RFQ's, Quotations and to be aware of market price of fit out products.
