Key Responsibilities: Project Management and Planning:
• Plan and oversee all phases of aluminum projects, from initial design to final installation.
• Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Design and Technical Coordination:
• Review and approve aluminum design drawings and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, and engineers to ensure project alignment with client expectations.
• Ensure all aluminum components are compliant with technical standards and building codes.
Fabrication and Installation:
• Manage the fabrication process of aluminum products, ensuring quality and precision.
• Supervise on-site installation of aluminum structures, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
Budget and Cost Control:
• Monitor project expenses and ensure they stay within budget.
• Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to obtain cost-effective pricing for aluminum materials.
Team Leadership and Coordination:
• Lead cross-functional teams, including designers, fabricators, and installation crews.
• Assign tasks, set deadlines, and monitor team performance.
• Resolve conflicts and provide technical support to team members.
Client and Stakeholder Communication:
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress.
• Address client concerns promptly and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Quality Assurance and Safety:
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of aluminum work meets project requirements.
• Enforce safety standards across all project sites.
Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
• Provide final project handover documentation to clients.
Requirements: Educational Background:
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• PMP certification or equivalent (preferred).
Experience:
• Minimum of 5-7 years' experience managing aluminum projects, with a focus on architectural systems like facades, curtain walls, doors, and windows.
• Proven expertise in the aluminum industry, including knowledge of materials, fabrication processes, and installation techniques.
Skills:
• Strong knowledge of aluminum systems and their applications.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Technical proficiency with AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Technical Knowledge:
• Familiarity with aluminum profiles, finishes, and structural systems.
• Understanding of safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards related to aluminum construction.
