With a strong track record of delivering quality projects on time and within budget, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of high-rise building projects.
Job Summary:
The Civil Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, execution, and management of high-rise building construction projects. This includes overseeing the entire project lifecycle from inception to completion, managing teams, coordinating with clients, contractors, and consultants, and ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil works for high-rise buildings, with a proven ability to manage large-scale construction projects efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Planning & Coordination:
• Develop comprehensive project plans that outline key milestones, timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to finalize designs, ensure constructability, and plan for all phases of construction.
• Ensure all necessary permits, approvals, and clearances are obtained from relevant authorities.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
• Execution & Construction Management:
• Oversee the day-to-day management of construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Monitor and manage the construction schedule, ensuring that the project progresses according to timelines and targets.
• Ensure that quality control procedures are implemented and adhered to, meeting the project's required standards.
• Supervise and lead a team of engineers, contractors, and site staff, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
• Conduct regular site inspections to track progress, address issues, and resolve challenges promptly.
• Cost Management & Budget Control:
• Manage project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and aligned with the allocated budget.
• Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures where feasible, while maintaining quality standards.
• Prepare regular financial reports and ensure timely invoicing and payment processing for subcontractors and suppliers.
• Risk Management & Safety:
• Ensure that the construction site is compliant with all safety regulations, and work with safety officers to promote a safe working environment.
• Identify potential risks related to construction activities, safety concerns, or regulatory compliance, and address them proactively.
• Client & Stakeholder Liaison:
• Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on project progress, timelines, and any issues that may arise.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of the project.
• Provide timely solutions to client and project-related issues to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance:
• Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and manage quality control procedures to monitor construction work and ensure adherence to specifications.
Qualifications:
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master's degree or Professional Engineering License preferred).
• Experience:
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in civil engineering and construction management, with a strong focus on high-rise building projects.
• Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-disciplinary teams and projects from conception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices specific to high-rise buildings.
• Familiarity with various construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Microsoft Project, etc.).
• Skills & Competencies:
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead diverse teams and collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to overcoming construction challenges.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly to various stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED13,000.00 - AED16,000.00 per month
