Position Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee environmental and agricultural projects from initiation to completion. This role requires on-site management to ensure the successful execution of each phase of the project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental projects and sustainable agriculture, project management, and the ability to lead teams in dynamic field environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage environmental and agricultural projects end-to-end, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
• Supervise on-site activities, including land preparation, planting, monitoring, and community engagement.
• Develop and implement detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Work closely with local communities, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve on-site challenges, and ensure adherence to environmental and agricultural standards and best practices.
• Coordinate logistics for project resources, equipment, and personnel.
• Provide regular updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders, highlighting progress and addressing any challenges.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and agricultural regulations and maintain high safety standards during field operations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the advancement of our mangrove planting and sustainable agriculture methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Agriculture, Natural Resource Management, Project Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in environmental restoration, agriculture projects.
• Hands-on experience with field operations, particularly in mangrove ecosystems or agricultural systems.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Strong understanding of ecosystem restoration, climate resilience, sustainable agriculture, and sustainability principles.
• Ability to manage teams in remote and challenging environments.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Monday or similar tools).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and work in outdoor field conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month

License/Certification:

• UAE driving license (Required)
