Role Overview: The Project Manager will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of projects, with a focus on cybersecurity initiatives. This role will involve collaboration with various departments to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. Responsibilities include submitting project deliverables, preparing status reports, and establishing effective project communication plans.Key Responsibilities:
Manage and guide cybersecurity and other internal projects from initiation to completion.
Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
Plan and coordinate project schedules, goals, and milestones and make project assignments.
Coordinate resources for the successful execution of projects. This includes working with internal teams to ensure project efficiency.
Develop a detailed project plan to track progress and adjust as needed.
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
Report and escalate management issues to senior management as needed.
Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders, including regular status report updates.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Qualifications:
A bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field.
Proven 7+ years of project management experience, including 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
(Preferable) Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and related technologies.
Solid technical background with an ability to address accessibility and compatibility issues.
Excellent communication skills with a capacity to present, discuss and explain issues coherently and logically both in writing and verbally.
Good analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with immediate team members, other IT areas, and clients in other departments.
