Driven to create unique home-grown food concepts that bring people together, the Independent Food Company is a UAE-based hospitality company with multiple concepts under it's umbrella - SALT, Switch, Parker's, Grind, Somewhere and Public.We are currently seeking an experienced Project Estimator for our Projects department.Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare BOQ and Tender pack
- Tender analysis report for Approvals
- Prepares RFQ and issues to vendor
- RFQ analysis report
- Prequalification of contractors & vendors
- Coordinate for the registration of suppliers
- Issue RFI to contractors upon coordination with PM's
- Preparation of Bill of Quantities.
- Estimating and cost control.
- Interpreting specifications, price tenders, and preparation of contract documents.
- Interpreting and checking drawings, tender documents, quantities and estimates.
- Managing and supervising Tender / Quantity Surveyor Department and planning and programming workload
- Proven 4-5 years in Hospitality interiors , Fit outs and Restaurant Projects, or fit-out and joinery refurbishments experience as Estimator or similar role
- Aptitude in understanding the projects and its requirements
- Determine key variables for cost and other estimates
- Gather first-hand information from sites, warehouses or other avenues
- Conduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production timeline
