As a Project Engineer in Electrical Services: LV Switchgear & Electric Mobility , you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, technicians, suppliers, and stakeholders, to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Initiation:
Lead the development of project plans, defining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
Prepare technical submittals, review the project specifications, and prepare compliance statements and risk assessments to identify potential challenges and mitigation strategies.
Coordinate with stakeholders to establish project goals and obtain necessary approvals.
Prepare drawings and coordinate with stakeholders for approvals.
CPMS Management (Interim)
Manage the Charge Point Management System (CPMS), including system configuration, monitoring, and maintenance.
Coordinate with IT teams and software vendors to ensure the CPMS meets project requirements and client expectations.
Provide training and support to clients on CPMS operation and maintenance.
Stakeholder Management:
Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders (client, management, finance, and execution team), providing regular updates on project progress, milestones, and risks.
Foster strong relationships with internal teams, clients, vendors, regulatory bodies, and other external partners.
Address stakeholder concerns and ensure alignment with project objectives throughout the project lifecycle.
AUTOCAD Drawing Preparation & Submission
Coordinate with MEP team for electrical Autocad drawing submissions
Maintain sequential records of revision for drawings submitted.
Adopt best practice approach in drawing preparation with Autocad
Project Execution and Monitoring:
Oversee the execution of project activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.
Chair project kick-off meeting, conduct weekly progress reviews, status meetings, and performance evaluations to track project metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Project Closure and Evaluation:
Lead the formal closure of projects, ensuring all deliverables are completed, and project objectives are met.
Conduct post-project evaluations to assess performance against predefined metrics and identify opportunities for optimization.
Generate comprehensive project reports and documentation for stakeholders, summarizing key insights, outcomes, and recommendations.
Management Reporting Details:
Project Progress Reports:
Prepare and submit weekly progress reports to senior management, including status updates, milestone achievements.
Highlight any deviations from the project plan and propose corrective actions.
