Job Title:Project EngineerDepartment:OperationsReporting To:Facility ManagerSite:ES- ES-1110Job Purpose:The MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Project Engineer in Fitout/Construction will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of MEP systems within construction and fit-out projects. This role requires managing project timelines, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering quality installations in line with the project specifications. The MEP Project Engineer will work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project completionKey Responsibilities:Project Planning & Coordination:

• Develop detailed project plans, and schedules for MEP & Civil works.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors and other stakeholders to integrate MEP designs with overall project plans.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and other documentation
• Execution & Supervision:

• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and UAE regulations.
• Supervise and manage subcontractors and site workers, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety protocols.

• Quality Assurance & Control:

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications.
• Identify and resolve issues related to MEP installations & Civil, providing technical guidance as needed.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, weekly MOM, including reports on project progress.

• Health & Safety Compliance:

• Implement and enforce safety standards and practices on site, ensuring all activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential hazards related to MEP installations.

• Client & Stakeholder Communication:

• Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates on project status, addressing any concerns or issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Education:

• Bachelor\'s degree in mechanical or electrical, Preferably Electrical
• Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP project engineering, specifically within the fitout or construction industry.
• Proven track record of managing MEP & Civil installations in commercial, residential, or industrial fitout projects.
• Skills:

• Strong understanding of MEP systems and their integration within construction/fit-out projects.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations in UAE
